THE SA SERIES APPLICATOR
A TECHNICAL MASTERPIECE
The Jiggi blades are supplied on a role, which is automatically fed to the applicator. The cartons are stacked in the feedhopper, from which they are transported by the conveyor belts.
Programming the applicator is easy with the touchscreen panel. Starting up takes 15 minutes at most. Good to know: changing from one type of carton to the other is fast and easy, as well is switching blades or changing saws. The applicator does not have to be adjusted. On the display, you can follow day production, order quantity and the total number of cartons produced.
The Jiggi blades are cut at exactly the right length by the cutting unit, and can change per 1 mm. After that the hot melt coated blades are applied to the cartons with hotmelt technology: at exactly the right place and exactly the right temperature. Finally, the cartons – with the Jiggi blades now attached – are transported by the conveyor belts, which neatly stack the finished product. In case the belts are full, a sensor makes the applicator stop automatically.
If you change the applicator to the cooling down mode, it will automatically stop when the conveyor belts cool down below 50° C.
That’s how simple adding value can be. And it takes 1 person only to control this process.

Central electrical power supply
The machine has one central electrical power supply. The engines of the Jiggi applicator work on 110, 220 and 400 Volts.
Stacking up to 600 flat cartons
Jiggi’s feedhopper stacks approximately 600 ﬂat cartons, which are automatically transported to the heating stations by transport belts.
The applicator allows maximum ﬂexibility in the production process. Using various types of carton or different blade lengths? Adjustment is done in seconds.
Precise application by photocell technology
A special start-stop system enables the applicator to apply the ﬂ at carton to the Jiggi blade. Photocell technology ensures that this happens at exactly the right moment.
Length precision up to 1 mm
The precision cutting unit cuts the Jiggi blades at the requested length to a precision of 1 mm.
Temperature control by infrared units
Infrared units with individual pyrometers guarantee a controlled temperature transport to the hotmelt coated Jiggi blade. This system saves energy and ensures a long lifetime of the machine.
Siemens touchscreen panel
A Siemens touchscreen panel allows simple programming and handling: both the operator and the maintenance people have an easy job to do. Their settings are stored separately and secured by passwords.
Computerized warning system
A computerized warning system indicates possible machine failures.
Easy in maintenance
Maintenance costs are reduced to a minimum, machine parts are easily exchangeable. As we use standard machine parts only, spare parts can be purchased anywhere in the world.
